Congratulations NRP RA's Patricia Maslowski and Hazel Cadiz for their acceptance of the OUR 2025 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)! This research grant provides summer funding for independent research projects. Patricia will be investigating item level variance on the PRIME Screen Revised, a clinical high risk for psychosis screening tool. Hazel will be investigating item level variance of self-stigma in help-seeking college students.

Hazel received the 2025 AANAPISI STEM & McNair Scholars Summer Research Institute, a prestigious undergraduate research grant that provides funding for independent research over the summer term. Hazel's project will investigate the affects of cognitive flexibility on self-stigma of help-seeking behaviors in college students. Way to go, Hazel!
