Following the submission of your application, qualified applicants will be invited for a formal interview with graduate students in the Neuropsychology Research Program. During this interview you will have the opportunity to meet with current graduate students and ask any further questions you may have about the NRP and duties as a valued research assistant.

Research Assistant Responsibilities
We are eager to work with qualified people who desire to gain valuable research experience, and whose interests are in line with current lab endeavors.
If you have an interest in neuropsychology and are a student in good academic standing with UNLV and/or have earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, we welcome you to apply for a research assistant position by downloading the application posted above.
Students who are accepted to work in the Neuropsychology Research Program are traditionally highly motivated individuals with good time management skills and a strong academic profile. Our RAs often have an interest in pursuing graduate studies in a related field.
It is important that applicants are able to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per week to work in the lab and are able to dedicate at least two semesters' time to working with us.

Traditionally, research assistants have had the following responsibilities and opportunities:
- Training on administration of a variety of test batteries
- Recruit participants for studies
- Gain an understanding of conducting research with human subjects
- Participate in professional development workshops
- Code, enter, and score data
- Run non-clinical undergraduate participants through research protocols
- Attend weekly lab meetings and participate in insightful discussions regarding research topics
- Present research posters at conferences
